Good deal??

I have been doing some checking around & it seems that I can get a 2* hotel in either the Universal area or WDW vicinity for $21 per nite for the 11 nites we need in June & July, which is peak season. Has anyone stayed at a 2* in those areas? Which hotels do you think they could be?

http://travelbidding.8m.com/ He has some great info. I used priceline last year for Disney and got a 2 1/2* for $20 a nite. It was a basic Fairfield Inn off I-Drive but was great. Continental breakfast, nice pool, game room, laundry, fitness room. It was basic yes but we were hardly ever there so it didnt matter. This will get you a basic howard johnson, best western or so I would think... good luck! Steph

We prefer the 3* Marriott near the airport. It is only about 20 minutes from Universal. Sea World is even closer. Straight shot on the Beeline. Very nice hotel with a huge indoor-outdoor pool. It is usually never more than $27. The restaurants around this area aren't packed like they are around the tourist areas. We just stayed there last weekend for about the 6th time. We stay there everytime we want a long weekend for Sea World and Universal.
