Good deal on a vacation home??

We got a 4 bedroom / 3 bathroom with priavate pool and jacuzzi for 6 nights in January.

$660 for 6 nights + 10% tax
$150 Pool Heat
$250 Security Deposit

$1060 (but we will get our $250 securit deposit after we leave - for a grand total of $810 for 6 nights).

Thought it was a great deal as there are 5 of us, and my sister and I would each like our own rooms. No way could we be crammed in a hotel room or even a suite.

Do you think $135 a night (after tax and pool heat) is good for a 4 bed/3 bath, 15 minutes away from Disney??

Yes...this is a pretty good deal....you could probably search and search around and get some lower prices but this sounds good...do you know what developement you are in....for this money I would expect to be ver close to Disney, either Emerald Island, Rolling Hills, Windsor Palace, but not way out on 27...check and see where you are at.......HWY 27 is very nice, but a longer ride to Disney....enjoy...Ted

We managed to get two condos, each for a week, which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a couchbed int he living room, each for $150 from skyauction.com

I dunno....I'm just glad the house is big. I didn't wanna be stuck in some lousy hotel room.

We are only spending 3 days in Disney anways....so distance doesn't really matter to us.

But I'm really happy!!!

3 bathrooms will be SUCH a luxury for us!

We (family of 6) ended up with 11 nights in early December in Windsor Palms (or is it Wyndham Palms now?) with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for a total cost of $1100.00 -- includes pool heat and taxes. It took me 2 weeks of searching for the best deal but I'm very pleased with our good deal!
