I think this is a really good deal based on the pricing offered on BG's own website.

An annual pass to both Busch Gardens and the Water World in Wmsburg, VA for $64 (sold only in a two-pack, for $128). Includes discounts on merchandise and free parking.

This compares to the Virginia resident season pass at $58, which does not include the water park, and does not include free parking. And the VA pass expires on Sept 1, 2008 whereas the 2 Park Pass at Costco is good all season long.

Hope this helps someone!:thumbsup2

Can you post a link? I can not find it. Thanks!

On Busch Gardens website if you buy 4 of more 2 park passes you can buy them for $116.21 each.

This is an EXCELLENT deal! Thanks for sharing!

Right. The Costco offer gives them to you for $64 per person, 2 parks. Busch Gardens is $116.21 per person, 2 parks.

I found this offer in-store in Chantilly, VA. I didn't look online, but this may be a local offer only since I live in VA. Your store might do a phone order though. I'm thrilled to get this deal! Even if we only go once, it pays for itself!

Wow.... I should have looked closer at the pack at Costco then. I thought I was getting a good deal at $68 pp but that was for one park.

I know! I didn't buy for two visits until I went online to BG.com to make absolute sure I was getting a good enough deal, and then just about RAN to Costco to buy my set of 4 passes! The price was great, but the kicker was having a valid pass all season long, including Oktoberfest while the VA pass expires on Sept 1. The lady at Costco didn't even know that little detail!

I do not have a COSTCO membership, so I wanted to see the deal before I joined.:upsidedow but since I live in Williamburg, maybe the closest COSTCO will have this deal. Do you think if I go with a friend that has a membership I can get it?

Thanks for the clarification, the 2 pack part of it threw me off today!

I don't see why not. There was no limit on how many a member can buy. When they give you the passes, it's just a tyvek sleeve with Busch Gardens logo and inside are two snazzy cardboard "tickets" that you surrender upon admission to get the laminated card. So there's no name to fill out at Costco.

If there's anyone in NoVA who'd like to buy a single pass, I'm still in need of one more. I didn't want to buy a whole 2-pack for my 5th family member. If anyone's interested, PM me and maybe we can coordinate it.

Do they sell WDW tickets? Anyone know if Sam's or BJ's does either? I missed the good deal on the $59 hospital tickets.

Do you know if they would be good for Tampa too?? or I wonder if a COSTCO in Florida would have passes for the Tampa Busch Gardens??

Can anyone verify if these are just in Va or are just for Va. residents. I would love to get these in Del.

Thanks
Wayne

I didn't get the Family Fun card, I bought the full season pass with parking included (used to be known as the Silver deal), the rate I paid was the military one. ;)

Went to our Costco here in Norfolk this morning.
All they have is a 1 person 2 park pass for 128.
No double packs! :headache:

That is a great deal! I thought I read somewhere that the Bush Gardens tickets are good for either VA or Fla.. Thanks for the heads up! :)

I checked this out today too and there is only one ticket for $128. It clearly says 2 PARK, but not two tickets.

An okay deal with parking and the 10% off other passes and meals, and merchandise, but definitely not as good as I thought.

OP ~ did you in fact receive 2 passes for $128? I think your Costco messed up in your favor!

OP here: We're back from our opening weekend at Busch Gardens with our Costco 2 park season passes.

I can't imagine that I just got lucky at my Costco! The packaging was pretty clear that it included 2 season passes for 2 parks for $128. I'm a skeptic by nature, so when they gave me the actual passes, I asked her to open it so I could see for myself what they were. Indeed, there were two cards, each one saying good for one person season admission into both Busch Gardens and WaterWorld.

When we walked in for the first time, the three of us activated our cards and went over to Passport sales to have permanent season passes made from the Costco bought cardboard tickets. No problems there either, they made 4 plastic season passes to both parks for us.

Total out of pocket was $328. This was at the Chantilly VA Costco. Maybe your store could call over and verify the offer to get it at your Costco? I was also thinking of selling these on Ebay?!

P/S - I've never been to Busch Gardens (except Seaworlds) and was blown away by the beauty of this theme park! There was so much to do, it was an excellent alternative to Disney during this tight economy. We're only a 2.5 hour drive away, so the kids close their eyes to nap and wake up when we are pulling in to park! How much does that ROCK!?

I hope others are able to find this deal too! It doesn't matter on the pass where you live. You could be visiting VA and buy this deal and use it at BG. But it's not transferable to other BGs or Seaworld. However, you do get 50% off tickets to other BG's, Seaworld and Sesame Place for the length of the season pass.

Okay, I'm going to have to go to the Chantilly one. I'm in Leesburg, so only about 15 mintues down Rt. 28. The packaging at Leesburg didn't say 2 pack ANYWHERE. Believe me, Dh and I looked over every inch of the package.

Glad everything worked well for you. I haven't been to BG in YEARS and am excited to take the kiddoes.
