Good deal at Costco on season passes to Busch Garden/ Water World VA

Update: the Chantilly Costco is now selling ONE 2-park pass for $124. I was so disappointed when I went in tonight to buy one more set of two passes for my 5th family member (and a friend was going to buy the extra one from me). When I went to pick up the tickets at the window, the Costco lady said there was previously confusion about how many tickets the package was for. It was now only one 2-park season pass for $124.

I was really surprised, because I read that package carefully the day I bought my passes, and I'd swear in court it said (2) 2-park season passes. I almost think they reprinted the card insert in their packaging - - that they really did make a mistake when they printed the promo material.

Anyway, looks like this isn't a 'deal' anymore, at least not at the Chantilly Costco. It's still a savings of about 25% off the website for a single 2-park pass, but nowhere near as good a deal as 50% off.

Sorry for the bust....:confused3

Wow.... I should have looked closer at the pack at Costco then. I thought I was getting a good deal at $68 pp but that was for one park.

Hey Melissa, where did you get 1-park passes for $68? My dad and his wife want to buy just BG passes. TIA!

OP: I think you just got plain lucky. I remember seeing this same pass in the Fredericksburg and Manassas Costco a couple weeks/months back. It clearly said 1 pass $164. I think you just might have gotten the perfect combination of a inattentive cashier and Merchandise retrieval person. :rolleyes1

Last year we bought the Pay one day come back all summer ticket. It was a decent deal, but free parking would be nice. I guess that's the best we'll be able to get again this year, unless costco messes up again or displays the wrong price.

Also check the all parks passes on the Busch Gardens website. We got four 2-year passes about three years ago for around $1000. Earlier this year I think it was discussed that they were even cheaper. You have to buy four to get the discount.

We went to Sea World a couple of times, Busch Gardens Tampa three times or so. We never made it back to Virginia after the first time, but I think we got our money's worth. Free parking was included.
