I was just looking at the menus trying to figure out DP credits and I cannot find a CS at Epcot that appeals to me. What are you favorites and why? It ill be me and DD who is 8. She is not picky but wants things that are somewhat familiar to her.

If she's had chinese take-out and liked it, the chinese & japanese CS should work for her, I would think. Those are my two favorite CS in epcot. Very yummy, lots of choices, I actually usually get the kids meal when I eat at the epcot china CS.

If you want hamburgers and such Electric Umbrella and Liberty Inn are good. The Lotus Blossom in China has the Chinese food you would find at any mall food court. Sunshine Seasons in the Land has all types of salads and sandwiches. My personal favorite is Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. I love the refired black beans and the churros. I have to eat there at least once during my trip.

The childrens meal at Mexico CS is the "Plato de ninos" it is good, but my kids and I usually split the Plato Combinacion. That is my first choice-if your child is a really picky eater stick with the American Fare.

This is from Allearsnet

Menu Date: February 2007
Plato Combinacion - chicken taco, beef burrito and a quesadilla served with black refried beans and Mexican salsa $8.25

Wet Burrito - soft flour tortillas filled with beef, served with lettuce, tomato, cheese, black refried beans, sour cream and Adobo Sauce $7.75

Tacos al Carbon - flour tortillas filled with grilled chicken, onions and peppers, served with black refried beans and Mexican salsa $7.50

Ensalada Mexicana - tortilla shell filled with grilled chicken, black refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese and Mexican salsa $8.50

Plato del Nino - grilled chicken and cheese quesadilla, tortilla chips and a small soft drink $3.99

Cantina Nachos - tortilla chips, beef, cheese, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, sour cream, black refried beans $7.25

Churros - fried dough rolled in cinnamon sugar $2.15

I have always enjoyed the Fish and Chips in United Kingdom (the Harry Yorkshire Fish and Chip stand - I think that's what it's called). The dessert choice there is not too great, though - shortbread only. I also usually have a good experience with the Mexican Cantina and it's really pleasant to sit by the Lagoon and relax -but watch for the birds - they are aggressive. :goodvibes

Another vote for the Lotus Blossom Inn. The kids meal (which I often get too) is beef fried rice, an egg roll, and a drink. Nice bargain. The cashiers will show you pictures of each of the dishes on the menu if you don't really know what you want.

Thanks everyone! The Cantina looked interesting but I was unsure if it was good. She will eat chinese if she is in the mood so i think we will narrow it down to those 2 and let her decide when we are there.
I wanted something else than standard CS. Goodness knows we will get enough of that during our trip!

Sunshine Seasons in the Land is awesome.
