Can Anyone give some good sugestions for Breakfast that we can use our CS credits, I see the resorts, and sunshine seasons, but any others ? First time at WDW

We have found that is it better to pay for counter breakfast OOP or use snack credits when ever possible...We try to save our CS credits for lunch or dinner because you get more food and those meals cost more OOP...You should really try to use your credits towards more expensive items when ever possible...Breakfast items tend to be cheap, snack credits seem to cover many "breakfast items" and at breakfast you do not get a dessert with your meal like you do at a lunch or dinner CS...

But if we were to use our credits for breakfast I guess we would go with the Boardwalk Bakery, Main Street Bakery or MOST LIKELY at the resort for a quick bite before heading to a park.

It's been a few years ago so I'm not sure if the offerings are still the same but Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD had a wonderful CS breakfast!

What we do most often is split 2 CS breakfasts between the 4 of us and then split another 2 CS lunches later in the day. That is plenty of food to hold us over until we eat a big TS dinner!

Other times, we save a CS dessert - like a muffin or pastry - and eat it in the room for breakfast and eat a bigger CS lunch.

Have a Happy Fourth and a wonderful trip!

We always pay for counter service breakfast. Not worth the cs credit. We save cs for lunch. It's a better value.

I don't agree with using snack credits for breakfast, especially if you actually want breakfast. The "bounty" platters at the resort CS places are huge: eggs, meats, potatoes and bread, easily shared. Also breakfast come with two beverages so its really easy to share. You can likely share a breakfast and lunch so you're even for the day on CS between two people.

We had way too many snack "opportunities" to waste those credits. In fact we had CS credits left (we did use them) on the final day.

I am also pretty stingy spending OOP if I'm on the DP. I don't drink alcohol, so that's never a reason, but found myself pretty full everytime I left the dining table at WDW. I think we spent OOP at McDonald's (picky 5yo) and I think we paid for a snack or two OOP. I personally didn't find I needed anything more than the Basic DP allowed. In fact in a couple of cases I would have been just as happy with less (ie. no appetizer).

When on the dining plan, we always pay OOP for some lunch meals with our DDE card and thus have some CS leftover for breakfast.

We are NOT happy campers without something sustainable for breakfast!! We do not drink coffee but we NEED food! It is quite scary, actually.

So, we like splitting a CS credit at most of the times, our resort, because we can order the biggest platter that they offer, and one credit gives us two drinks. He can get his apple juice, while I flock for my OJ!

But if we do not get it at our resort, the Mainstreet Bakery in the MK will give you one hot item, one pastry, and two drinks for one credit! Yowza! And Captain Cooke's in the Polynesian serves Tonga Toast--yep, its available for CS! :wizard:

The french toast loaf is awesome!! We found we can split CS breakfasts between the 4 of us and have plenty.

We were on DDP last xmas week and used cs for breakfast 3 times(we usually do not, but this worked well). Did emh at MK one morning and after hitting all the fantasyland stuf and Buzz, used cs at Cosmic Rays for egg platter, with biscuit, potatoes, bacon and it was very good, hot and fresh; I used cs at Pizzafari after 1st FOLK show at around 10am and had similar egg platter, also very good, but the guy at the next table had a great looking breakfast sandwich!-they also had a breakfast pizza, I think; on check-out day we went to POR ( we were at our home resort of OKW, so its very convenient-rigth next door) and this time all 3 of us had breakfast at the food court and it was all really good, it was after 9am so it wasn' cazy with those trying to get to the parks-lots of choices and nice seating inside and out. Now if we could just get decent coffee at wdw....(I miss the fountainview cafe lattes and they also used to have great cs breakfast meal, too).
