Hi,

Next July we are staying @ bwv, we are on the travelling from the uk and wont get in till around 7pm (and thats if there's no delays)

We wont have a car - so we would like recommendations for cs meal near to BW. We also wont have access to a park that night.

Your help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Boardwalk To Go looks like it might be a good choice for you. Very typical American food but it is one of the few CS locations in the area (other than walking to Epcot, which you said you can't do). There is also the take-out pizza window on the Boardwalk, but that from what I have read that has gotten a decent amount of unfavorable reviews recently.

Here is the menu from the Boardwalk To Go - I would also check out Allearsnet.com to look at some others...maybe an inexpensive TS meal.

Could I ask - what is a corn dog? - Is it made from sweetcorn?

A corn dog is a hot dog coated with cornbread batter and deep fried. The food at Boardwalk to go is okay, not great. One thing - they only accept cash. They do not accept your room key charge.

We had the pizza at Spoodles walk up window in June and it was terrible. It was like eating cardboard and it was expensive.

You might consider walking over to the Beach Club and go to Beaches and Cream.

No, it's a nasty cornbatter covered hot dog that is deep fried. Ugh.

The Beach Club has a nice counter service place inside their resort shop. They have really nice sandwiches and salads.

Beaches and Cream is another fun place to eat. You can get a really good cheeseburger there, or chicken sandwich...etc.

The Boardwalk Bakery has nice enough sandwiches, and of course those nice pastries and other sweets. :D

If you want to stroll to the Dolphin they have a counter service place just as you walk in (to the left).

There are many options other than the kiosk/cart which by the way only takes cash.

Does anyone know what time it serves till

Thanks again

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are looking for a CS location that accepts the DDP, I don't think any of the above (including Boardwalk To Go, Beaches and Cream and anything at the Swan & Dolphin) are currently listed in their brochure.

I know for certain that the Swan & Dolphin restaurants are not included in the DDP. And Beaches & Cream is a TS, not a CS, location.
There are not many good CS options at the Boardwalk
Have a Great Trip

If your flight is landing at 7PM it might be cutting it close for service at any of the restaurants. It really depends on how long you have to wait for the Magical Express, checking-in etc. There is always room service - just aheads up, the pizza comes from the Spoodles pizza window. I have never had it (even though I worked at Spoodles ;) ) and it would be 2 adult TS tickets for it on the DDP.

We tried the Boardwalk Bakery dining free dining. The desserts were very good & the sandwiches were pretty good too. It is a CS meal on the DDP & it is outdoor seating only. Hurricane Hanna's at the Beach Club is also CS in the Boardwalk area. If yov are looking for a larger variety, maybe you could visit one of the resort counter service locations using a Disney bus.
