I am planning my 09 Disney trip. I have tried to choose ADR's that will apeal to my whole family. We will have 5 adults (one of which wouldn't eat at a buffet if she was starving to death) and two children. Here is my list and I am hoping you all can give me your opinions and any other choices I haven't thought about. We will be on the dining plan and will have 7 TS meals.

CRT~ which meal would you choose? I am thinking dinner
Princess Breakfast in Norway
Garden Grill ~dinner
Liberty Tree Tavern~ dinner?
Coral Reef~dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe~dinner

I think all of these will apeal to my children and also have some nice food for the adults in our party. What are your opinions? Obviously these are not set in stone and I may not be able to get each one, but I would like to have an idea of which Adr's we will want well in advance of our 180 day out.

if you are trying to hit character meals in some places. For example, CRT dinner is not really a character meal. Cinderella is downstairs but there is only a little show upstairs. LTT is a character meal at dinner not lunch.

Overall those are all good restaurants and can be entertaining. You shouldn't have to much trouble getting all of them if you call at the 180 day mark.

So if I choose to do CRT at breakfast or lunch time it is a character lunch?(More princesses?) Also we want to see the characters at LTT so that answers my question mark about that one.

on both. CRT is a character meal at breakfast and lunch and LTT at dinner.

I am not possitive on this, but I believe LTT is a "family style" restraunt for dinner. So not a buffet, but also not idividual plates. Would this be OK with your non-buffet eatter?

Maybe your non buffet eater should skip a group meal or you all should split up for a meal. Seems ashame that the kids don't get to go to Chef Mickey's. My 6yo nephew LOVED it and still uses his laminated placemat daily! My mother and I also loved our time and breakfast at Chef Mickey's!

The atmosphere at CM's: 5 characters, music, napkin waving, monorail overhead, brightness from the glass roof just made it really unique and fun. Truth be told, Mom and I might sneak back there even w/o our baby boy, but we would never tell him we went! ;)

Yep, the family style thing will work for her, she just hates buffetts because multiple people she doesn't know are filling their own plates. She's kind of a germ-a-phob! she's my sister and I love her, but she is very picky when it comes to food!

we went there for our arrival night dinner and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was fun for both adults and kids and the food was wonderful-family style. The food just kept coming out-loved how they brought the meat and shrimp on skewers. I think this was the favorite meal of the week.
