Okay, we have a couple of QS credits left. We'll not be in a park those days. I figured we'd check out some other resorts, maybe try out their QS food courts. I know all the value resorts are going to have the same type of food, is there anything special at the other resorts we should try?

We'll have a DTD day, and we'll be trying out WGP Express as well as hitting up an old favorite, Earl of Sandwich....so we hate to go to DTD again and repeat those.

Anyhow...any suggestions on where to spend those last few QS meals? And it's not bad manners to eat at the other resorts QS locations....is it? I know pool sharing isn't allowed so I don't want to be crossing another line with QS establishments :)

best bang for your buck is defiantly at coronado springs. They have a huge selection and even have steak! PO has a make your own pasta bar that is fun. contemporary has the contempo cafe with some more interesting choices and great cupcakes! I'd look up at least the contempo cafe and coronado springs menus on all ears and go from there!

I've read a lot, a lot of dining reports. I really want to try the make your own pasta at Port Orleans. I've also read good reviews about the Pepper Market.

We are doing the QSDP this year and we have been checking out all the posts about the CS spots at the resorts. The ones that we want to try in December are:

  • Pepper Market at Coronado Springs-LOTS of options
  • Riverside Mill Food Court at Port Orleans Riverside- make your own pasta
  • Contempo Cafe at Contemporary- may just go for the cupcakes:rotfl:
  • Captain Cooks at the Polynesian- some interesting choices and Dole Whip for desert.
  • Mara at Animal Kingdom--the chicken flatbread looks amazing and zebra domes for desert. yum!

HURRY UP DECEMBER!!:yay:

Riverside Mill at Port Orleans Riverside is our favorite. The food is very fresh and of good quality. There are tons of choices. Our worst QS was at the Caribbean Beach. The food was gross; stale, cold, old......disgusting.

I have to echo what others have said- POR has a great food court. DS loves the made-to-order pasta, I am a big fan of the made-to-order salad, and DH loves the coffee/bakery items for dessert.
We also enjoyed the QS at the Poly. It had some items that we had not gotten elsewhere (and Dole Whips!!).
Enjoy!

Do be aware that the resort CS locations expand their menus at dinnertime. For instance, I'm not sure the build-your-own pasta at POR is available for lunch. Contempo is also better at dinner; they had a really good basil chicken pasta that is not there at lunchtime.

For lunch I'd look at Capt Cooks at the Poly and Pepper Market. Maybe even go to Pop just to check out the decor and have tie-died cheescake for dessert. For dinner, POR and Contempo.

WDW does not allow pool-hopping but they love you go eat at the resort restaurants, whether TS or CS. It takes some of the pressure off the parks, and it encourages you to fall in love with a different resort and schedule your next stay there.
