Good cheeseburgers?

We planned a day to drive to the North Shore, so I've been researching some casual places to stop in the area. In the Haleiwa area, I wrote down Kono's, Breaker's, Haleiwa Joe's, and Pizza Bob's (has more than pizza). Can't speak to how any of them are yet, but their menus looked good and they were in convenient locations!

not sure where you guys live, but I haven't been down there yet but I think it's down by the mall and whole foods. But I need a run to Kaimuku dry goods so I should go for lunch.

Man, I wish I was Kama'aina but I am in Toronto. Funny thing is I have Kaimuku Dry Goods on my list of places to go in August because my daughter and I both want to try to do a Hawaiian quilt. It was suggested to me to go there for fabrics.

Monkeypod across the street from Aulani has some really good burgers.
Also try their pie, amazing!!!

We enjoyed Teddy's Bigger Burgers when we were in Oahu earlier this month. They have a few locations - we happened to go to the one near the Dole Plantation.

For what it's worth, Jeff, I have a list of recommended places from our Aulani trip and from other people and on a blog that Pete wrote he stated that he had had the best burger of his life at Pizza Bob's on the North Shore.
