Good-BYE VAN PAYMENT!!!

I have to share my awesome news!! THanks to our (modified) Dave Ramsey plan, I just made our LAST van payment!! We also had to buy my DH a 'new' truck (1998) - which we did in cash and we also took a Disney Cruise in January! So, how we managed to do all that and pay off our van 2 1/2 years early, I don't know! Now onto the student loans.....that is daunting to think about...they are about as much as we owe on our HOUSE! ugh!

I hope you don't have our experiance....A month after paying off my DH's truck the engine blew and it was $6k for a new engine (another truck would have been $10k so it was cheaper to fix). For us it was two steps forward and one step back!

But congratulations!

We did kind of the same thing, not fully a dave ramsey program but we took a lot of the same principles and made it work for us.

Isn't it a great feeling?

Those student loans will be paid down eventually, don't concentrate on that, for now enjoy your success
