I am looking for a good inexpensive place for breakfast for all 7 of us? Also I am not a big breakfast fan, but the rest of the group is.

I am all for bringing breakfast from home and eating before you go to the parks, but I will say that the Pop food court serves a yummy breakfast!!:goodvibes

We liked Sizzler the last time we were in Orlando. It was on International Drive. All you can eat buffet was GOOD and only $3.99. Catch was that the beverages were like $1.50 extra. You might want to google Sizzler, they may have a location in Kissimmee.

We liked Golden Corral for breakfast, but it was not the least expensive option. Next time we are going to try Ponderosa. They have a buffet for $3.99. Where are you staying, that may make a difference in the recommendations.

It really depends what you are after. Our kids just love the breakfasts at IHOP and if you are anywhere near Celebration the Market Street Cafe does a nice one too :goodvibes

Market Street Cafe - I will have to try that next time I am there. I am always on the look out for a good breakfast place.

Here is what I have found (and of course this is only MHO!)

We don't like the buffet places so tend to steer clear of them (Sizzler, Ponderosa, etc)

IHOP is OK, not WOW but OK enough.

Denny's - traditionally we have always had bad service and not wonderful food from there.

Cracker Barrel is OK for breakfast too, along with Perkins and Bob Evans (of those I think Bob Evans is slightly better or perhaps we just had a slightly better experience)

Tried a Waffle House once - wouldn't go back...:scared1:

The best place we found was actually way up north of Disney (about 20mins) we were directed there by a concierge when we asked about good breakfasts (their first response was Denny's and we said  ). I think it was called Sweetpeas or something similar, but I can't for the life of me remember where it was located. Unfortunately, its not very convenient for trips where you are doing the parks. But if there is anyone from the area who knows of this place and can remind me where it is - it was great.

I would vote for foodcourt at your resort if your staying on property.

Last time i went to my local IHOP it was over $20 for myself and 5 year old. Eggs/pancake breakfast w/ coffee, kids meal w/ choc. milk, tax, tip...and it was nothing special.

I hate IHOP and DENNYS:sick:

could it have been Sweet Tomatoes? We love their salad buffet and if we're ever there early enough would probably like the breakfast too.

We only eat at Disney, but if i had to find something off property I would look for a Perkins.

agree - Golden Corral is pretty nice - big selection to pick from and they are easy to find.

with Waffle house - only order waffles - their waffles are wonderful. everything else....:confused3

don't like IHOP or Denny (big rip off) or Cracker Barrel - got the worst service of my life there. Now if you want to spend HOURS in a restuarant then go. I don't want too.

that is one place I will NEVER go back to. the people were rude and boy talk about the lousy and I mean lousy service.:scared1:

when I asked after waiting for over an hour for the food - got told 'well you aren't doing anything' - should have left then.

they let some people who arrived after we did - get seated first. then they were LATE with our food.

nothing like seeing the people who broke in line - get out of the restuarants hours (AND I MEAN HOURS) ahead of you.

since this restuarant (the one in Kissimmee) I have never eaten at another cracker barrel and will not. WORST SERVICE EVER.

When I lived in Orlando, I would often go to Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. There are plenty of Waffle Houses in the area, just pretty much head in any direction for about 3 minutes and you'll find one on the right. There was a good Cracker Barrel on Orange Blossom Trail and the 417. I recently ate there this past summer when I was in the area again, and while they aren't the fastest service, they do have really good food.

We ate at Bob Evans....it can't be beat!!! Quick service, good food, super cheap prices, nice waitress. If we wanted to go out for breakfast while staying off-site, would definitely eat here again.

We like Cracker Barrel. As a matter of fact that's a family highlight of ours when we hit the road to Disney. We look forward to stopping at different locations each trip. My mum and the kids love to walk around the Country Store while waiting for our name to be called (it helps keep the little ones busy) and we love their breakfast. The wait can vary depending on the location and how crowded but I can honestly say I don't recall waiting a while for a table to come up for us and we're a party of six. Service has always been polite and the food is great.

We'll eat at the Cracker Barrel atleast twice on the drive down to FL and probably twice on the drive back home to MD.

There a a few ponderosas and Golden Corrales in Orlando which serve good buffets, but the best breakfast we had was on the 192 - the western side. They had EVERY food you could imagine, omelettes made to order a bakery with fresh baked banana bread and vanilla sauce, muffins, danish, etc. The meat selections were plentiful and it was very clean. :cloud9:

Perkins. There is one on Hwy 192 in Kissimee. We HAVE to go there for breakfast at least once everytime we're in Orlando. We also like Waffle House. I'm not a big fan of buffets in general but if I had to do one I'd do breakfast. You have to work pretty hard to mess that up. I think there is a Shoney's buffet on Hwy 192 as well.
