Good Boardwalk restaurant?

We're staying at the Beach Club in January so my friend and I can run the half marathon. It's our first "adult only" Disney vacation- really excited! Anyways, the night after we're done the race, we thought we'd just like to chill and stick around the resort and then walk over to Boardwalk after and go to Jellyrolls. So, I'm looking for a good place to eat in the area (1 credit please- we're doing Jiko's earlier in the week for our signature dinner...)- Also, we won't be using park tickets for this day, so no park restaurants please! I was thinking about Spoodles, but am open to ANY suggestions/pointers. Thanks!

We have been wanting to try spoodles - menu looks great! However, we do love the pizza window. It's fun to get a slice and a beer and sit out on the Boarwalk!

Both Spoodles and Flying Fish have been very good in our experience.

Can't beat Spoodles. We have always had good food & great service. (breakfast & dinner are great!)

Since you're only the Dining plan and only want to use one credit, Spoodles is about your only choice...a decent place.

My vote goes to Beaches and Cream in between the Yacht and Beach Club. It is by NO means fancy, and I'm not sure about how many credits it will cost, but it is Cute. It has a 50's Soda Shop type of charm. My hubby and I make it a point to stop in there for every visit...they have the BEST burgers!

I'd say Spoodles or Beaches and Cream - If you are into Meditteranean food Spoodles is very good - we've now been twice. We've also been to Beaches and Cream twice, and the burgers, chili, hot dogs, etc. are all good too. Service has been great at both places during all of our visits.

Two very different places with very different menus/atmospheres, so it'd really boil down to what you want.... very casual (B and C) or a little nicer (Spoodles).

Typically Big River gets not so good reviews - pub grub - but I like it! Good beer!

Big River Grille use to be more of a pub type atmosphere but last year when we walked past it is more of a restaurant now. It was brighter and looked nicer. We have eaten there before and liked the food but that was a few years ago. We may try to eat there again in a couple of weeks. The menu looks good with more selections. We love Beaches & Cream for a real simple type of soda fountain meal. They do have the best burgers and onion rings! And the desserts are fabulous!! We also try to eat there on every trip.

As you can see there are a few good choices on the Boardwalk. Have a great trip, good luck in the marathon and enjoy whichever restaurant you choose!

Yep at Big River I'm looking more for the beer then the food. Love Pub Grub and Beer.
