good beach in San Diego

one last question...what beach is recommened in San Diego..we need to try to squeeze this in..likely in the later afternoon, early evening...thanks!

I would probably head up to La Jolla. That way you could swing by Children's Pool and see the seals (a local tourist destination) as well. If not, Coronado is the prettiest beach. I'd probably avoid Pacific Beach.

Either La Jolla Shores or Coronado. PB and OB can be a little un-family friendly.
