Good Aaa Agents?

[JUST STARTING]

I have read such mixed reviews concerning booking with AAA. We will be using the dining plan so my only option is to book through AAA if I want any kind of discount. We will be staying 8 nights next in May 2006 at POP . I'm still debating if the discount is worth it or if I should book with a travel agency that is a Disney expert and not have to worry about any problems. If it is allowed, can anyone refer a AAA travel agent to contact that knows what they are talking about? I am from the Western New York area but I have read you could book through any AAA office. If you could give me a name and phone number I would appreciate it.

We are saving $356 on our package with the AAA discount off the room portion, plus will get to enjoy the dining plan. It is well worth any hassles I've had trying to get this booked.

Finally found an agent in southern California who was willing to go to bat for me. Yes, it probably would be easier to use a Disney specialist, but I don't have any other discount, so will gladly take the AAA savings.

Also...if I already have a room-only ressie booked will AAA be able to give me a quote or would I have to cancel the booked room first?

My fiance and I have booked through AAA also, saved about $300 - 400. I did quite a bit of research before hand and had AAA do a couple of different pricings for me - it was hard to get the best deal when the new plans came out because not all of the new rates were in the computer system yet....but finally was able to get the discounted rate.

I would love the name of a good agent as well. We aren't booking until late summer but the one AAA agent I talked to kind of scared me. I don't like it when I know more than the travel agent! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
