Anyone know of a good place to get one? I would love to start doing some computer pages for my scrapbooking. Also know of any good software?

If you want to be able to print 12 x 12, I'm guessing you're going to have to get one of the oversized tabloid printers that will do 13 x whatever... I know Epson has several ink jets that will do that. They range from $400 - $700.

Dang, guess I will be waiting along time then. There is no way hubby will let me pay that much for a printer for a hobby,

We have a an EPSON 2200 that prints up to 13" wide. It has archival inks that are based on pigments instead of dyes. The life expectancy of the inks is over a hundred years.

The EPSON 1280 is also a wide carriage printer. Although it uses dye inks, the prints are expected to last 80+ years. In our local camera club many members prefer the 1280 to the 2200 because of the brighter colors.

Both HP & Canon also make wide carriage printers.

My husband is into photography, so the printer is of value to both of us :)!

I've printed on some 12 x 12 papers using my regular printer.

I've cut 3 or 4 inches off and then used the Landscape (I think that's what it's called) and it will print farther on the 12 x 12. Then I piece the 3 or 4 inches I cut off and place a strip of decorative paper to cover the 2 matching areas.

Also, I've used my American Greetings CD and used the "Banner" mode and it makes it print longer than the average 8 1/2 x 11.

Good Luck!
Deb
