But I'm not sad... I got excepted to the Le Cordon Blue Culinary academy!! Life long dream. We were going to Disney in June, but since this is only a 9 month course we will put it off until thanksgiving. How is the weather then. I would hate to go when it is cold to rainy. We do live in the Seattle area and would love a break from the rain.

Wow!!! That is terrific news - congratulations!!!

November is a mixed bag - it CAN rain, or it CAN be in the 80s. It's more likely to be in the upper 60s-low 70s and mostly sunny, though. Be aware that if you're really coming Thanksgiving week that it's VERY busy - it used to be just Thursday-Sunday that were packed, but now there's so many southern California schools that get the entire week off that it's pretty busy all week. The Christmas decorations and events are all in full swing, though!

OTOH - we went on the Sun-Thurs after Thanksgiving, and it was a dream! Lines were everything from walk-on to at most 20 minutes. Weather was cool in the mornings and evenings, but quite warm and pleasant mid-day. I'd do that week again in a heart beat.

Thanks everyone I am still in the thought process on Thanksgiving. I'm worried about driving there with all the snow in the mountains. I'm from California and I have never really driven in snow, and if DH drives I think I would be a wreck. I would love to go and see the decorations. That would be the perfect start to our holiday. So we'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Hey that is so great, im happy for you.....I went to Disneyland as my graduation present after becoming a respiratory therapist and passing the boards....It will be a great present to yourself also, and have fun...
