I don't know if they are approved but we have seen several people with those fire pits at their sites. I would think they are safe and the fire would stay contained in the pit. They look nice and warm from the distance. My son has one in his yard at his home and we all love it.
The campground is really "beginning to look a lot like Christmas". Some of the sites are unbelievable. Ours looks really nice but doesn't compare to some of them. I told DH tonight we need more lights next year. We have 21 large blowups but few lights. Some sites are more adaptable for lights whereas some would have no where to put them.
Still wondering how some people manage to get the samesite year after year.
We told them at check in we have NO pets and yet we are in the 500 loop with LOTS of animals. We do not mind but we do notice many of the dog owners do NOT clean up after their dogs. They allow them to do their "thing" in other people's sites.
Still do not know if they are having the golf cart parade this year or judging the campsites. Plan to check on that tomorrow.
With 3 in wheelchairs and over 50 doses of medicine to give each day along with me being on 3 IV medications each day, it takes a while for us to get started every day and when we do get back to the RV at night, it starts all over again.
I think DH will need another vacation after this one this year.

He should also receive a degree in medication before this is over. He had to draw my blood yesterday (per training before we left GA.) and then took it to Fed Ex. Apparently he did a great job because my doctor's office called this morning to give me some "good" news for a change per the blood work. Finally my Potassium is back up as well as the white count. Yeah!!!!!
Enough of this chatter from site 528. Hope to see some of you while we are
here. Pulling out on the 3rd unless we decide to leave on the 2nd. Will be home in time to see the Big game on January 7th....Alabama (my college team) and Texas. ROLL TIDE!
DH always signs this "retired and happy" but I am just "retired and tired".
Oh, prayers would be much appreciateed tomorrow as this will be the 1st anniversary of the death of our 33 month old Colton.
Merry Christmas everyone.
