Gone to park during cabana rental and returned

Since you have the cabana paid for from 10 am to 7 pm . Has anyone been in their cabana for a few hours , gone to a park and returned to their cabana?
We are walking distance from Epcot and I was wondering if anyone had done this?

hi - yes we did this. kids wanted to do lunch at Epcot so we left our cabana at Beach Club around noon and were back a little after 3 pm . it was fine. you may want to let your cabana host know that you are heading out for a bit before you leave. Have fun!

Perfect . This will be our last day and we’re hoping to break up the day by dashing to Epcot for an hour or two.

We've also made a quick run to a park while spending the day at a cabana (Beach Club for us), Not a problem. As for cost, I want to say it's in the $250 range for the day, but pricing can change quickly at WDW! But you do pay in advance.

This is from 2022, but they've gone up. They are 300+ now, prepaid, only all day rentals, and you have to be staying at that resort.

Tax included with my AP discount.
10am to 7 pm
Basket of snacks ( chips pretzels, Oreo, rice crispy treats)
Fruit tray
Dessert tray
Cooler full of water, coke , Diet Coke, apple juice and Sprite
Cabana 1 has full sun and privacy bushes
Cabana 2 has full sun , up against water and sand bottom . Two reserved nice padded chairs but other guests can sit right next to you
Cabana 3 and 4 set back behind others / partial shade all day
If you like to lay in the sun
Pick 1 or 2
I feel cabana 1 gives you most privacy because of the rolling bushes sectioning you off from guests .

All have fan /tv /towel coolers/fridge/ couch / two chairs and table inside the cabana which provide full shade all day . You have the option to open or close the sides . There is a long counter top to pile stuff and a Bluetooth speaker you can play music with. Tv has full cable choice of channels.
Outside the cabana you have two padded loungers and a small table
