Gondolas: expected completion date?

Have we heard when the gondola transportation system is expected to be constructed and completed? Thinking of staying at Pop Century next year, but don't want to deal with the construction hassle and noise.

Do you plan on spending a lot of time at the resort?
If not then there really should be no reason to not stay due to construction.
I'd think most noise would be during the day when the majority of people are not trying to sleep.
I'll be staying at POP December 2018 and I'm not anticipating a lot of disruption although I also spend most of my time int he parks.
