Gondola to Epcot from CBR - positive or negative?

I would wager many dollars that, by the time they are done, there are large trees planted below/at each base, and that they're painted whimsical colours and/or disguised in some other way. This is Disney- this is what they do . Have a little faith. Of course when they're put up they're going to look like industrial transportation infrastructure- that's what they are. And they won't paint them/make them pretty until last- lest the creations get damaged as they're put together.

I REALLY hope that you are right. Surely they will do something to soften the look! Some nice paint and foliage could do a lot, I suppose. Meanwhile, I have to agree with.....

Not an expert here and I haven’t read every page of the mega Gondola thread on the News/Rumors board, but I seem to recall a discussion there about pole themeing and the conclusion/majority opinion was that the only few poles that will look any different are the ones by the Epcot IG entrance. Those are the only poles in the whole system installed with a different color (a dark green that fits the color scheme of the buildings back there). It wouldn’t surprise me if the plan is to leave the others as-is (don’t know that for sure of course).

I highly doubt it. They are what they are - a Gondola structure

I'd rate it a positive. Minimal impact on the resort ambiance since these are pretty much silent in operation. Easy access from CBR to DHS or Epcot. Less bus noise in the resort.
