Summer temperatures in Florida start earlier and run longer than in northern states. Entirely possible to have been in the 90s in September of October.

It was in the 90's in October, with heat index in the 100 range, we rode it the entire time we were there. Yes, if you are heat sensitive or afraid of heights, there is a chance the Skyliner will stop mid journey. Everyone needs to just pick if you want to ride it or not.
I have no doubt they will be fine when moving. When were you in it and it was 91 degrees outside and humid? I didn't think they had been running through a Florida summer. Any enclosed space with no way to move air sitting it the sun in Florida in summer will get hot very quickly, vents or not. Vents do little good without a way to move the air. There is no way in 90 degree heat it won't be at least in the 90's inside. For a lot of people being trapped in that kind of heat for the time it takes to evacuate the skyliner is going to make them very sick. A bus stop is different in that you have the choice to get out of the heat if you have to.
I have no intention of setting foot on one in the summer. I live in the deep south and I KNOW what will happen. 90 in October and 90 in July are very different here. The humidity might be high for you in October, but it is a different beast in the summer. A couple of hours at that temp vs most of the day makes a huge difference in how those boxes are going to retain heat as well. Sit in a parked car in Orlando in July with the windows half down for half an hour and you will see what it would be like. Definitely not pleasant.
