DH and a friend want to play a round of Golf when we go to Orlando. Has anyone got any ideas which are the best courses to visit. Thanks :wave2:

There are dozens if not hundreds of great courses in the Orlando area, it depends very much on where you're staying, if you have transport , if you have your own clubs and a rough guide to what sort of golf experience you're looking for.
Orlando runs pretty much the whole spectrum of possibilities from municipal (public type in the UK) all the way through to top class professional (PGA) championship courses. Actually you'll find Disney covers pretty much the whole range from the Oak Trail 9 hole walking course that's going to cost you about $25-30 for a round all the way to absolutely top of the range full service courses that are in the $100+ range ( although you can get a great deal if you play twilight rate).

Drop me an IM or email with the sort of things they're looking for and their playing level and I'll try to come up with some ideas that are specific to them.

Would you believe it - mention golf and Vernon magically appears LOL

The courses that I refer my guests to the most are MetroWest and Shingle Creek. Both of those courses are close to the I-drive area. If you really want to go all out, then choose Champions Gate.
If you are needing clubs, Windermere offers free rental clubs.
