Hi.

We will be at SSR next month.

Are the gold courses open? I will call and make tee times if they are open.
Is there only one at SSR?

Thank you.

They are open. Lake Buena Vista course is at SSR. The Palm and Magnolia courses are over at Shades of Green by MK. Having played them all, i actually prefer LBV over the other two even though they are higher rated. I like the fact you meander thru OKW, SSR, and also see POFQ as well as Disney Springs. Nice resort course where you never see the next hole. Enjoy!

Played LBV GC 10 days ago. It was a swamp from all the recent rains. It was cart path only, and they set up the paths to be opposite my ball. It was the most wet course I've ever played, and feel it should've been closed. Some players tried to make a go of it, but packed it in and got rain checks. I guess they had it open was to accommodate out of town guests. I swear walking on the course my shoes sunk in 1-2 inches in the muck. Played Magnolia GC the next day and it wasn't as bad. It is laid out in a higher elevation. If you play I'd suggest Magnolia over LBV, and check the course conditions, and restrictions. I live in Jacksonville, just up the road, and the rain has slacked off, so maybe next month the courses will have recovered. I'm actually playing there next Thursday. I'll report back the course conditions next week.

Wow! Thank you both! We wanted to use LBV since we will be staying at SSR Just for the convenience. I appreciate your both taking the time to give me your thought and I look forward to hearing about the condition of the course next week.

Thanks so much!

How much does this run?
Cart fees?
Are tee times hard to get or can I just walk up?
Can I rent clubs? $$?

Greens fees run around $100 per player including cart, I believe. We're playing 10/08 on Group Golfer coupon, and paying $39 per player. Made teetime this AM, never had trouble getting a teetime in the past. Cart and range balls included with the coupon. Plus, 2 for 1 beverage, Bounce-back (whatever that is), and entry into a raffle (for what I don't know).
Called pro shop this AM for teetime, told the courses are still waterlogged, and cart path only play in force. More rain forecasted next week, so unlikely to be lifted. I'd advise against playing LBV, as that was the worst track waterlogged-wise.
Magnolia was a bit drier due to its higher elevation, yet still very wet. Some players asked for, and got a raincheck, after playing the front side. It was that wet/bad.
At this time clubs are not available for rent due to Covid. You might want to verify that.

Just played Magnolia GC 2 days ago. No restrictions, no golf cart only restriction. Greens and fairways dry, in good condition. Just damage from my divits.
