I called Disney World this morning and was told that the free club rental ($50 Regular Rental Price) and shoe rentals will continue for DVC Golf Members. I was also told that the perks apply to up to three guests playing with a DVC Member. I hope that this is true, as it seems that we have all been getting conflicting responses. Anyway, you can book your tee time at the Disney World golf website. You will be required to present your DVC Golf membership and a photo ID when you check in at the clubhouse to get the discount. Greens Fees are $50 ($145 - Regular Price). If you are not a member yet, you can still book your tee time and join DVC Golf when arriving at the clubhouse. It is a great deal, especially if we do still get the free club rentals.

Thanks for your new info. I hope it is correct. Were you talking with Guest Services or WDW info or golf reservations? We leave really soon and I wish we knew for sure as hauling along the clubs is such a pain!

My own update here. My husband called WDW golf this afternoon and was also told the benefit expires today.

As to the question about range balls, they are not included in the DVC discount. I believe the price is $6 a bucket,and it is a small bucket. You can play a second round the same day by paying again using the discount. When paying regular resort guest price, a second round is half the regular resort guest price which is still higher than playing with the DVC dicount this time of year.

I called the golf number today regarding current deals. The person I spoke with said that presently clubs and shoes were no longer complimentary to DVC card members. Also he said that to his knowledge taxi service to golf courses from the resorts was not complimentary either. For some reason, I had thought it was complimentary, perhaps it was at one time or am I just mistaken? Also, I wanted to find out what guest rates would be for July which is when I'm travelling. I only plan to play one round alone so it may not pay to get the card. Does anyone know what last year's summer rates were? Thanks.

Sorry fellow DVC golfers. The free golf club deal is over. We are going down Sunday so we called today and they said it's over. Too bad, it was a great deal. Now I can't blame poor shots on strange clubs. Oh well, I'll have to blame the Rum Runners!

Does anyone else remember Richyams blaming poor shots on those "lousy" Disney golf clubs? So it's been done! That's the first thing I thought of when I read this. Thanks for the chuckle.

I played in November and received the complimentary taxi. And this was not a DVC perk this was a WDW Resort guest perk. I have played golf the last 5 years we went down and got the free taxi whether we were staying at DVC or a regular Disney resort.

My husband and sons played this week and my DH did ask at the course about the free rental for DVC. No more.

They didn't use the free taxi service this trip but have many times and as others stated that is a WDW resort perk not exclusive to DVC.
