10:39 am Golf at Osprey Ridge
I used my Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Golf Membership and paid $35 for the round. I didn’t bring my clubs with me this trip so I rented from Disney at $45 (they no longer offer free club rentals for DVC memberships). The course is in great shape and as beautiful as ever. We saw the beverage cart approximately every 4 holes.

10 am Parasailing at Contemporary
We arrived early and were able to go with the 9:30 am group. It was my first time parasailing. One word of advice: Make sure the canvas (?) seat is completely under your rump before they send you 450 feet into the air! :rolleyes1 My rump slipped out after about 3 minutes – I should have placed the seat under my thighs not my butt. I hung on for the remainder of the ride (lasts 8-10 minutes) and when we got back to the boat the VERY young gentleman stated “oh, looks like you fell out” Nice! :rotfl2: We got the photo package as well. They take 12 pictures of you and then give you the film for development – can’t wait to see if the photos show me dangling without a seat!!! :lmao: Despite the seat problem, I will do this again during my October trip. The view is beautiful – I took a disposable, waterproof camera up with me and managed, in between holding myself in the safety vest, to take a few photos.

8:30 am Segway Tour; Epcot
This was my second Segway Tour. I just love these! Especially the 8:30 am tour – we spent the first hour learning (or relearning in my case) to ride the Segway and then we headed out to World Showcase without any guests in our way! We did have to dodge some maintenance workers but that was it. The tour guides will take your photo while you are on the Segway (these turned out terrific). I can’t remember if I used DVC or AP for a discount but the tour cost $68 with whatever discount I used at the time. Well worth it. It’s especially fun to see the faces of guests when you ride back to Innovations West (Future World is open when you return). I’ll repeat this tour during my October trip.

This was a different Trip Report. It was fun to read about different things you can do at WDW instead of just going to the parks. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like you are one for adventure! I've been wanting to try some of the courses at Disney World. I've only golfed at Oak Trail, which I found to be surprising long.

Thanks for posting.

The parasailing sounds like fun! I'd love to try it on my October trip.
My husband and i did the Segway tour in December. We were on the 9:30 - 11:30 tour. It was great - we saw all the characters that were going to open Epcot for the day - they stopped and posed for pictures. Will try to post the picture. :)

Thanks for sharing the trip report!

Thanks for sharing. Me and DH are planning to parasail and wondered if we can take pictures or if they will take them. When it comes to extreme heights we're chicken so parasailing will be a stretch for us. Can you tell us a little more about what we'll see up there? Thanks again.

We had clear weather which helped with visibility. We were able to see the entire Magic Kingdom and well off into the East - not sure what we were looking at, perhaps Kissimmee? They have a photo package available (12 shots) - seems like the gentleman took photos as we were going up, a few while we were up there, and several as we were being pulled back in. I'll know more once I get the film developed (hopefully by the end of the week). I bought a disposable and had no problems taking photos while up there. Basically, I just waited for the boat to turn me and then snapped away - I'll post again once the photos are developed and let you know how they turned out and what exactly I managed to capture.
