Tee off in themed golf events
Disney Vacation Club Members can be among the first to experience new themed golf events this spring at the Walt Disney World Resort: "The Putters of the Caribbean" on April 5 and "Around the World in 18 Holes" on May 1.
In "The Putters of the Caribbean," groups will take on a Caribbean-ized Disney's Eagle Pines Golf Course as "Pirate Crews" under the order of "Captain Mulligan." Low scores and triumphs in other special challenges throughout the course will help crews unlock treasure and fly their teams' colors with pirate pride.
"Around the World in 18 Holes" will put an international spin on the game, with tour guide "Anita Reservation" sending "tour groups" of golfers on a trip through the challenges of a global themed Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. International flags, music and other treats will await competitors at select holes as they swing their way toward a German Oktoberfest celebration.
Each event costs $139 per player and features food, beverages and interactive entertainment.
