Golf - OKW to LBV golf course walking time

I know a free ride is available, BUT can someone tell me how long it would take an adult to walk from OKW Hospitality House to LBV golf course clubhouse? Also, how much ahead of tee time should the person arrive if they need to rent clubs? Thanks so much for any and all info!

According to Google Maps, it's roughly 1 mile between those 2 locations, so 20 to 30 minutes walking time at a normal pace.

And as far as the ? about the time ti get there when renting clubs, DH always got there about 45 minutes beforehand (but at his age, he needs a little more time to warm up than most). One morning, he didn't get there until about 30 minutes beforehand, and surprisingly, the pro shop said "You're cutting it a little close today, aren't you?" First time he'd played that course. He golfed 4 times from OKW, rented clubs and got the free transportation so any more questions, feel free to ask. I know he wondered lots of things beforehand.
And if you take the free transportation, tip is included.

If I remember correctly, the walk would not be along the main road, but would be along the walking path and cart paths around the golf course. You need to walk out the back of OKW to find the start of that path - just be absolutely certain you know where you're going if you decide to walk. It's not obvious if you're not familiar with the walking paths from OKW to Disney Springs and the golf course clubhouse. I'd ask at the front desk for assistance or recommendations. I don't think there are sidewalks along the main road between OKW and SSR/LBV Golf.

The walking path starts at Building 55 in the South Point section of OKW - so you'd first walk through the full length of OKW (or take the bus from HH to South Point). The walk through OKW is 10-15 minutes or so. From building 55, the walking path then is about 15 minutes beside the forest and golf course, following the river that the boats take to OKW. When you come across a footbridge going over the river to the left (before you get to Disney Springs), that will take you over to Saratoga Springs and the golf course check-in which is at the back of Saratoga Springs' main building across from the boat dock.

It really is a nice walk/jog. I've done it often during the mornings when we stay at OKW - I just wanted to be sure the OP realizes it's a less conventional way to get to the clubhouse should they choose to walk!
