Morry and Dixie are on their way back home today. I drove them over to the Hospitality House to be picked up by the Mears Shuttle. It sure was fun having them here with us.
Matt has a real date tonight. He is going to a concert at the Hard Rock Café. So instead of taking the bus to the MK, we had him drive us over. We parked at the Transportation Center and then took the Ferry over to MK. Did I mention that it was crowded, lol. I am sure glad that I wasnt rushing around trying to ride all of the rides. Matt and I went over and got our hair cut on Main Street. This is now a tradition for me and my hair was getting pretty ragged. If you get a chance, stop in the Barber Shop. They always have a little show going on and it is a hoot! We had lunch on Main Street (I cannot remember the name of the place, lol). We ran over to Big Thunder Railroad next. This is the ride that Matt works at. He had fast passes for this ride so we went right to the front. Yeah! I rode with him and he gave me a great description of everything on the ride.
You can now tell that we are at the end of the vacation and everyone is tired. No one can make a decision on what we should do. Matt wants to go on Space Mountain. I want to go on Splash Mountain and the girls want to go get a Banana Split. In prior vacations, this might have been a flash point where tempers may have flared but now we just agree to disagree. I make a suggestion that we go to the Animal Kingdom since I have not been there yet. Everyone is ok with that so we leave MK.
We get back to Matts car and discover that Matt has lost his keys. Luckily he keeps a spare in his wallet. The girls really want to get their banana split so I give up my trip to AK for a trip to The Marble Slab (near Goodings). Matt takes us by his apartment, so we can see where he is living. We get our ice cream and go back to the room. Matt runs back to Lost and Found and picks up his keys. While he is gone I take a much needed nap.
Upon his return, he and I go to AMC Theaters and see Blade 2 (not that good). The girls meet us afterward and we go to Disney Quest (one of my favorite places). We have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, the girls wanted the cheesecake, lol. We had a great time and I especially liked the Pirates of the Caribbean.
