Golf Carts

OK, There alot of these but, I don't think this has been clearly answered. Are Gas golf carts noe allowed or is the official stand electric only. I think I have heard that you can have electric and then heard that they are cracking down on people with gas

I mean gas carts. DW and I are looking into getting our own cart but our primary camping spot is FW so we want to comply with the Disney rules.

I was going to do that and then I thought that someone like Colson or Gatordad or wait,,,this could go on way to long,,, some of my DIS friends might have the answers that even the CMs are unsure of.

Ok, maybe I was a little impatient but, I decided to call anyway.First I was directed to the bike barn but then I was re-routed back to the front desk since it was after hours. I was told that Gas carts are allowed but, they prefer electric because they do not have gas to sell you for your cart and you are not allowed to leave Fort Wilderness in your cart.I have read mixed answers to this question but, this came from Fort Wilderness.

So the official answer is Yes - gas carts are allowed in FW.
