Rentals are about $65 per day after tax.

Is it a must? No, but it does make life much easier when you are there.

We rented one for only one day and it was one of the most talked about things of the trip...kids loved it! You can get around with their bus transport, but yes a golf cart was fun . We used it on our resort day so lots of opportunity to use.

A must, no, you can take the internal bus system. Quicker and easier to get around, yup. Yes, you can rent them at the resort but they go pretty fast. We camped there in Oct., I called and rented ours about 2 days before the trip. My son and I could have easily gotten around without it by taking the internal bus, our campsite was near the boat dock. My honey, on the other hand, not so much. He like whipping around in it, he didn't go to the parks as much as us so he and the dog would play chauffeur and take us to the main bus stop and pick us up.

It’s a 100% must if you want the whole experience. Always a highlight of the trip driving around different camp sites with the kids in the evenings, especially around Halloween and Christmas as a lot of people decorate their sites. It will make things so much easier if you have one.

No, I did not pay when I booked. I'm not sure how far in advance since I didn't do it until 2 days before. I'm not much of an advance booking type person. We didn't even book our site until 3 months in advance.

They are not a must. Sometimes we keep it, sometimes we turn it back in. But they are convenient and a lot of fun, especially during the holidays/decorations. However, the internal shuttle service is excellent.

No payment is required upfront, but they do require a credit card to hold the reservation. 24 hr cancellation. Payment is charged on the morning of pickup. Reservations can be made up to 1 year in advance.

Several years ago we could wait closer to the trip or day-of to get a cart. Not anymore, if we can help it...and especially don’t suggest day-of (the sold-out signs were up at checkin during our recent trips).

We are booked for October and December. Halloween is already on a waitlist.
