Golf cart ????

We're planning our second trip to FW. We will be staying in the cabins and have a rental car, but this time were thinking about renting a golf cart for a few days. I have a few questions though.

If I pick the cart up the first day we arrive, probably not till after 2, is it still $50 for that day? And how about return day? Is it $50 every 24 hours?

How many people can sit in the cart?

How close to the front office can you go. My SIL and her family will be coming to the cabin for dinner one night and the campfire, wasn't sure if they would have to take a bus to our loop, or if I could pick them up close to the parking lot?

How do you identify you rented cart from the other, I assume they're numbered?

Where do you charge them? How long will a charge last?

It's just like a rental car. Doesn't matter what time you pick it up you still pay the full day rate.

The carts will seat 4 regular size folks. You can probably squeeze in a couple more if they're really small.

You will be able to pick them up fairly close to the front parking lot.

The carts are identified as FW carts and numbered.

You just plug them in at your site. I can't tell you how long the charge lasts, but a lot depends on how you drive it.

Kc5grw appears to have answered your questions pretty well . From our experience of renting Disney's carts , and now we bring our own cart ,,just keep the buggy plugged in anytime it's not in use (and of course overnight) and you'll have plenty of charge. Also the buggies are equipped with a gauge that tells you how much charge you have left.

Bring something to put on the cart (thats removable and will not damage the cart) to make it visible that it is your cart. They all look alike and they all take the same key.

We tied our cat to the roof by his tail...it was great the first couple of days because when we got off the bus...we could hear him meowing quite loudly. Unfortunately, a CM made us put the cat in the trunk of our vehicle because we were not in a pet loop.....we forgot him there. He's pretty stiff now...so we can tape him to the TOP of the roof next trip and he'll look like a pouncing jaguar, except skinnier...but it wont be the same without the hideous, shreiking meows.

We bring our own cart most of your questions were answered except for how close you can get to the parking lot, we drive right into the parking lot with our golf cart and have no problems.
