golf cart rentals off property

Is it ok to rent a golf cart from an off property company when staying at Fort Wilderness?

You can, but you have to bring the golf cart onsite yourself. An offsite company cannot deliver it to FW for you. We are renting from Kenny's Tee Time in September, and we'll have to meet them off property where they will let us either hook a trailer up to our vehicle or use their vehicle to then take the cart to our cabin, then we'll return their trailer or truck. Same thing with turning it back in. We'll have to meet them to pick up the trailer or truck, load up the cart at the cabin and return it to them off property. It's not the most convenient thing ever, but given that they charge a little more than half of what Disney charges to rent them, it's worth it for us.

It's not the most convenient thing ever, but given that they charge a little more than half of what Disney charges to rent them, it's worth it for us.

For a couple of days (I'd say 3 or less) it's not really worth the inconvenience (at least for us) but it very quickly becomes worth it the longer the stay.

It takes about an hour to get (or return) the cart. Not a big deal unless it conflicts with your "Plans" at a park or elsewhere. They always try to get the returns of the day before they do the "Pick Ups", so if there are a lot of returns on the day you need to pick up, your pick up time could be later in the morning (or early afternoon).
