Golf at WDW

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are okay golfers, and frequent WDW visitors, but have never golfed at WDW. I have reviewed the golf threads on other forums here at DISboards. I have a good idea of the different course. Also have PAP, so probably heading to Oak Trail for free golfing, at least to start.

Any input on good, bad, indifferent experiences? (Yes I know, gay golf is the same as staright golf, or it would be if I sufficiently contained my internalized homophobia of assuming that we'll get paired with non-gay friendly golfers. And yes, that happens here in Connecticut too -- legalizing gay marriage has not made unfriendly folks more friendly at golf...at least not yet.)

Any input, insight, or thoughts happily accepted. Thanks!

The staff is typical Diseny staff, they dont bat an eye. Lot's of gay women play the courses....there was even a GLBT tournament one year during Gay Days. I doubt you will have any problems at all.....even with other guests!

Zulmara used to work in golf also....he will be here soon I'm sure!

Just so you know, the Mickey sand trap is on Magnolia #6, and over at Osprey Ridge the putting green is in the shape of Mickey, and thats usually where Mickey's golf cart is, great for photo ops!
