Golf At Disney

Hi All

Our Ultimate tickets allow us to play in Oak trail golf course and it is something my 14 year old son wants to try.Has anybody done this before and what did you think of it.Were playing to do it early one morning this August before it gets too hot.Was trying to search boards for info on golf at disney but couldn't find any.Is there a forum which deals solely with golf etc at Disney.

Although I have never played at the Oak Trail myself (I'm not a player!) my parents have and loved it and they are Die Hard Golfers!!

They played early one morning and said that the wildlife was amazing and the course so pretty. They also got breakfast there which they said was really reasonable and very good.

My DH will be playing there in August a couple of times as well as a couple of the other Disney courses.

I think people generally ask golf questions on the Disney For Families Forum. You may get some better help there.

My Husband played the Oak trail course back in 2003 so not sure if it's changed at all. I went along but didn't play. It's a lovely course, beautifully maintained as you would expect from Disney, challenged my husband enough who enjoys golf but certainly not a pro.

Your only downside might be the heat as it's a walking course but if your going early you should cope. Hubby's planning on trying the Lake Buena Vista course this August so as he has the buggy.

Watch out for the deers too!
