Golden Mickey Ears - embroidery?

I *think* I once saw on here that the mickey ears can be embroidered in 2 kinds of embroidery. Can anyone describe what each kind would look like and can you tell me how much it costs per set of ears?

I don't know about the 2 types, but I can tell you that the string is white and the cost is $2.00. Doris, who made my son's hat, has been doing it for 25 years...a nice extra.

Got our Golden Mickey Ears last May and they were about $1.00 more than the black ones. I think somewhere around $10.99 and they put our names on them for free.

It depends on your meaning of "Kinds"..... Embroidery can be done two diffrent ways at WDW... First is the old fashioned hand stitched at Magic Kingdom. Then at the other 3 parks and DTD @ the christmas shop they can do it by computer. If done by computer you have several diffrent kinds of fonts and colors to choose from.

Hand Stitching costs $2 per pair of ears... the computer stitched costs a bit more.

There are two types of embroidery available. The embroidery done at LeChapeau at MK is done free hand on a sewing machine. It is only done in white thread. It cost $2 plus tax.

Fine embroidery can be done at Days of Christmas at DTD or at Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM. At both locations, you can pick from several different fonts and colors. It is a thick, professional looking embroidery. It is $7 plus tax.

I wanted to get baseball caps for 5 kids that are all the same. Red with black embroidery of mickey ears on the front and the year on the back. Does anyone out there know where I can get this done?
