Which goes best on a fair skinned person?

I'm VERY light and either one looks good...However I prefer the way white gold (or silver) looks against my skin.I also just like the way it looks better, as I'm not such a fan of gold. I think the silver or white gold stands out a little more though.

Jodi, it depends on your skintone. If you look better in yellows, oranges, and browns, then definitely gold.
If you look better in pinks, blues, and purples, then white gold, platinum or silver looks best.

I look better in the pinks, but I wear yellow gold though. I always have and the silver tone seems strange to me. But, it may be time for a change.

Remember the 80s craze to determine what "season" you are? Well, I'm a spring, and I look best in gold. I have strawberry blond hair, fair skin and green eyes.

I don't really think there's one color jewelry that looks "best" on anyone-- I think both silver/white gold and yellow gold each have different "looks" about them and you should go with whichever one you prefer.

I personally haven't worn yellow gold since high school. I just think white gold and silver are more subtle and look better for everyday wear.

I'm fair skinned and I think silver looks better on me. I think it's just a personal preference.
