Gold Ears at MGM??

Is there a place at MGM to get Gold Mickey Ears hat? And if so is there also a place at MGM to get names put on it?

DH is going to Star Wars weekend this weekend (arrive Friday night leave Monday morning). They are only going to MGM, with maybe a quick stop at AK to ride Everest if they get a chance. My DM wants gold ears for my niece. No one else in our family, except DH, is going to a Dis park until mid-October when they will no longer have gold ears (that's my understanding). I am trying to get as much info and possibilities as I can for DH because I don't want to inconvienience my DH but I also don't want to disappoint DM (and DN).

I appreciate any ideas people have!

The "5 and 10(Dime)" shop was where we got our gold ears this past February. They embroider the names too and there's lots of thread colors and fonts to choose from! We didn't want to wear them because they were so pretty but they will be decorating our Christmas tree this holday season.

Gold Mickey ears are just like the black Mouseketeer hats, but are gold for the 50th anniversary. I googled "gold mickey ears" for just images and pulled up a pic. Don't know how to put the pic in but here is the link (or you can google yourself):

If I remember correctly, the 5 and 10 store is on the main street when you enter into MGM, close to when you get to the "hub" or Sorcerer's Hat. It's not near the entrance, you need to walk in a ways but fairly close to the Hat on the right side of the street. Again, this is if I remember correctly. But when you get into MGM you can always just look at a park map to find it. Best thing is to go there early in the day because once you place your order it may take an hour or two for them to do the embroidery and have it ready for you (they're usually pretty busy). Do not, under any circumstances, wait until the end of the day to go in and get your mouse ears, they'll likely say it won't be ready until the next day.

I just don't understand why only selected shops in WDW will do the embroidery for the ears while at Disneyland almost any place you can buy the ears they can put your name on it. I got my gold ears in Disneyland at a shop in Mickey's Toontown, but just about every place that sold them also had the sewing machine to embroider names. The machines can't be that expensive.
