Gold and Platinum Officer's Reception - Fantasy Western

Can anybody tell me what day of the week they hold the officer's reception for gold and platinum castaway club members on the western itinerary on the Fantasy?

I believe its the first sea day on most cruises. There will be a letter in your cabin telling you where and when.

Does Gold get anything on 7 nt cruises? Just the regular Captain's Gala that everyone can attend on the 7 nt?

When did it change to 8 nights? Last 7 night I was on, they had it.

It changed in May of this year.

Yes, we were definitely looking forward to it as well since we are finally Gold but are just doing a 7nt. Oh well

Well in May we had one on a 6 night then on a 7 night cruise and my son was on a 5 night cruise that also offered one. So that is not always the case. Our cruises were both in early May.

I'm wondering if that is bc the policy changed in May (so you were grandfathered in so to speak). I wonder if anyone since May has had one on less than an 8-nt.

We sail 7 nights (Fantasy) the end of the month so we will see then I guess.

On The Fantasy? We were on The Magic for ours and my son was on The Wonder, but maybe it changed after the first 2 weeks of May.

Yes it was the Fantasy, first full sailing after dry dock.

We just got off the Fantasy, 7 night, Eastern Caribbean, 2 1/2 weeks ago, and we had no Officers reception, only 8 nights or longer. We knew about the change since May, but had booked the year before, so we were disappointed as well.
