Going Xmas Week instead of New Year's!!!!!

I am planning my 2nd trip for the this year. I arrive on the 21th of Dec. and leave on Dec. 27th. Looking for some feed back from anyone who has been there this time of year. All tips will be helpful.

My sister's family will be there then too as my niece's cheerleading team will be performing at the Citrus Bowl. I think there are many high school groups invited to cheer and all are staying at the All Star Sports.
