I'm a single mother of a 15- year old daughter. She is wonderful but lately we've been getting on each other's nerves. I'm now planning to visit WDW for 5 days by myself - a first. We have gone together for 5-6 times, the last time this past November.

I'm excited about it but sometimes feel guility about not taking her - I don't even know if she would want to come. She will staying at home with her grandmother. I want to see if I will have fun by myself as that day will eventually come when I will be going by myself more often. I am planning a trip with my daughter to WDW summer 2004

This seems to be a common thing with teenage girls and their mothers.

Go to WDW and have a great time. In a few years she'll want to go with you again. I've been going every year with my mom for the last 10+ - and now I'm 28. I think it would have been a drag to go just with my Mom when I was a teen - but I was young and foolish like most teens and didn't appreciate what I had.

Have a great trip - I love to go alone too and it's great. I think the Cast Members are nicer when they find out you're alone. I strike up the best conversations with Cast Members when I'm alone.

Hope you're staying somewhere nice!
