Going WDW Dec 17-23... Crowds???

We are headed for WDW on Dec 17 and are wondering about the crowds. Has anyone out there been to WDW during the week before Christmas? Is it crazy? I thought it would be less crowded...but now I am unsure!

I am so excited...but so nervous about getting all of my Christmas stuff done!

We are also going the same week, staying from the 19~26! We have never been there for Christmas before, so I am looking foward to the replies!

I will be there the 16th - 23rd. From what I have read, I am anticipating lower crowd levels until around the 20th. I called last night (10/11/05) and was able to get dinner reservations for the castle on 12/20 at 6pm and breakfast at Donalds (AK) on the 18th at 9am but many other restaurants are booked. I made all of my ADRs last month but I was switching some things around. I am planning to spend the first 4 full days at MK, AK, MGM, and then Epcot. The remaining days I booked some tours and am leaving alot of unplanned time.

I also had a harder time with my ADRs during that time period, many were booked. Hoping that the crowds are not that bad. We always go during summer, so anything has to be a bit better then that!
