Going to World of Disney NYC Tomorrow!

We're actually going to the city tomorrow. Sean got me tickets to a book reading and signing at the New York Times building. Afterwards, we're going to hit World of Disney NYC. I am so excited! We have not gone to the city in years and I finally get to go and see the store before it closes!

I can't believe it's closing... now I have to go over to Trump Tower for a decent bathroom in NYC...

Enjoy the store!!! We made it a point to visit it when we went to NYC. We also got to see Donald Trump next door.

I was so disappointed with it in all honesty, apart from a few cute NYC things, there was nothing else that good. The escalators were broken too.
And, as has been mentioned is commonplace, there is just so so so so much Disney Parks stuff there

Enjoy going into the city tho, I'd love to live near enough to pop in like that

We are hanging around right now. They're letting us in in a few. I'm waiting to see the authors come out of their hotel. Nicholas Sparks is the only one I know. Patricia Cornwall is also going, but I am not familiar with her work.

I so cannot wait for WoD!!! We also might head to lunch at Jekyl & Hyde. Woohooo! Oh and Don? I just saw somebody with a M & M World bag and nearly died laughing!!!

The store was great in the beginning... the 3rd floor was all Art of Disney kind of stuff and the other floors were themed very nicely... but as all the Disney stores went... oh well... downhill... It will be missed though...

& go to the Stage or Carnegie Deli... 1 sandwich will feed a family of 6...

Oh wow....Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. You are so lucky.

I'm going on Wednesday. Sneaking it in before dinner with the lady.

You should have fun, but it was much cooler in its heyday. Look upstairs next to the Art of Disney kiosk - you'll see the closed Meet & Greet area. My kids loved meeting Cinderella, Cap'n Jack Sparrow, Minnie, and the Pooh characters there over the years. It's been closed for months.
