Going to WDW!!!

Wow...I didn't realize how long it has been since I've visited these boards. I feel like I'm terribly out of the pin trading loop and we leave for WDW tomorrow night (March 1)!!!! Ugh! I'm so lost on which pins to get, which ones are htf, etc. I hope I don't make any horrible mistakes I'll regret...

Also, I noticed a post about a pin meet on March 2 at the Poly? Can someone give me info on that??

Anything else we should know about pin trading before we leave? I've read a little about different pin trading places at the parks. I do know about trading with CM's. Our last trip was 2 years ago. We were just starting the pin trading/collecting then and didn't really do much trading. Now my dd's and I have built up a little collection and look forward to some trading!

There are meets every Firday night at the Contemporary and every Saturday at the Poly. Both start around 7pm.

As one of the hostess, along w/ Raulandpinboy (Ed), and Pintrader (Kathryn) of both the
Contemporary, and the Poly Meet, we would love to have you come by, let us know who
you are though..we meet around 7PM, people are always early, and it ends when it ends..

It is on the first floor at the back by the pin cart...at the Cont. it is on the 4th floor by their
pin cart..

I can't make it to the Poly meet on Saturday. Hope you can get to the Contemporary meet on Friday night. I will be there, it will be nice to meet another person from the boards.

Thanks for the info, everyone. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can make either of those pin meets. We don't get in until after midnight tonight and tomorrow night we're planning on going to MK since it's the only night of our stay they have Spetromagic (unless it gets rained out?) But if I can make it to the Poly, I will. It would be lots of fun to meet people from the boards. I have my DIS pin on my lanyard, so if you see me in the parks, say hi! I don't think I'll make it back to the boards again today before we leave. See you all when I get back!

Go to the Poly after you leave the park anyway. In Dec, we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on Friday night and didn't leave MK til Midnight. Took the monorail to the Contemporary and they were still pin trading the (now) morning away.
