Going to WDW beginning of Dec, where do I start planning?

We aren't staying onsite. I rented a house in Windsor Hills because we have a large family. I am trying to plan but a little overwhelmed. We will be doing 2 (maybe 3 days if we can) at WDW, not sure which parks yet, 2 days at Sea World and 1 at Legoland. I have 6 children(girls 16&14 and boys 12.8,5, 2 1/2) and I just found out I am expecting #7 which will affect the trip a bit I'm sure.
I want to make the best of it for everyone and I don't know how to do that with such a large age. My oldest will be happy the days we go to the beach or hang out at the pool so will be forced along on family days to the parks but I am sure will have fun.
Where do I begin?

Start by making a firm decision about which days you will be at which parks. Then you can decide on FP+ choices. Be sure to take into consideration which days are MVMCP.

Mickey 's Very Merry Christmas Party. It is a separate ticketed event. On party days the MK closes early.

MVMCP is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's a hard-ticket event on some nights that makes the park close earlier that day for day-guests. In early December (we're going then, too) MVMCP is on Sun, Tue, Thu, Fri. So best to visit the Magic Kingdom on one of the other days if you're wanting to go all day. If you'd be leaving anyways by 5pm or so, then it's better to go on those party days instead, since you don't need the park to be open late.

With your kids' ages, if you stick to the 2 days at Disney, I'd do a day at the Magic Kingdom and one at EPCOT. LEGOLAND is great for the little ones, and SeaWorld will be great for the older ones, but you probly don't need 2 days at SeaWorld. Turn that into another Disney day perhaps if you want to see the Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios.

Begin by deciding where you want to go on what days.
