Going to WDW alone...

WOW. I haven't been on this thread for a while and I can't believe it turned into a parenting advice thread. Everyone has different ways of handling their children and from what I can tell most of them turn out pretty darn good. What works for one family may not work for another and I've found that if listened to what everyone else had to say I'd go nuts. I do what feels right to me. The only thing I truly believe is that follow thru is the most important thing with kids.

Anyway, I just got back from my week alone at WDW and it was a wonderful, enlightening experience. Have fun whatever OP dicides to do. I hope that the "change" in your kids continues and you can all go together, if not, go alone and have fun.

I just want to say that you shouldn't worry too much about how your kids will act when their older. My younger brother (by three years) and I always used to fight as kids, now at 23 and 20, we get along great. You can't always let your negative past affect your present and future. Set a positive example for your kids with your loving relationships (not "omg, I hate my sisters!" at every Xmas dinner or whatever) and they might learn something from you.
