Have just got a two night swap to Vienna with DVC. I had 26 points that I'd forgotten to bank in time - also it is less than two months until the end of my use year, which left few options. But, I noticed that some of the II swaps could be booked on a nightly basis, so I called and got a studio in Vienna for two nights at 20 points a night. Can't wait! Has anyone else done a similar kind of swap before? :Pinkbounc

No, but I think the fact that you're from the UK makes it seem like a much better deal for you!! How, lucky, a 2 night trip to Vienna!

Have a great time.

Lucky you! What I wouldn't do for some zwetschken knodel and a Kafe Melange right now...

I just booked for a week in half term February 2006 for Devon in UK.

I asked for one date but anywhere in UK and was really pleased that I was matched up immediately, so booked there and then.

I was not sure I would get what I wanted as only gave one date. :flower:

These II really seem to work

boy you did great!

I haven't seem that option - maybe I should look again. :goodvibes
Pat, this is through DVC's own exchange company, Buena Vista Trading Company (BVTC). At the present time the only options are for the Cordial group in Europe and Club Intrawest. In the past there were other options for the West Coast and HI but they have evaporated over the years. Just remember that the members of each group get first pick so you only have access to left over inventory. Thus you're not going to get Whistler during peak ski season or the like. I'd like to see them gear this system up and possibly even dump II in time. If they could affiliate with some of the other top systems like Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Royals and the like; it could be very useful. Of course they'd have to gear up a more formal banking system so that members of each group wouldn't be limited to the leftovers. But that's a long way from here to there and DVC ha shown no interest in heading that directly.

Feb is a VERY low demand time and as such should be very easy to get, even for 2 BR. The exception is London itself.
