Going to the park before my hotel visit

So, will I have any problems if I try to visit the parks before my hotel stay?

For example. I plan to stay at a Disney Hotel Friday night and Saturday night. Maybe Thursday.

What if I decide to go to a park on Tuesday? Will my magic band be activated and ready to use as a ticket?

Will I be able to schedule fps 60 days out for the early park visit, or just for the resort stay days?

I assume I will only be able to get a BOG lunch reservation during the resort stay days.

I'm purchasing my tickets separately, if that makes a difference (it seems like it might)

1- Nope.(Unless you are trying to go to an Extra Magic Hour event.)
2- OK.
3- Yes.
4- Nope.
5- Just for the resort stay days.
6- You can make FP+ reservations for days before a WDW Resort stay up to 30 days in advance.
7- You can make FP+ reservations without a WDW Resort stay up to 30 days in advance.

Yay! Thanks so much. I was mostly worried about the ticket active and working on the band.

You were correct in assuming you can only get the BOG FP for the days you are at the resort.
