My hubby Kenny and I are going to SW Oct 30th! It's my first time there and I'm wondering what we should do. I want to see Believe and the Sea Lion show. I also want to ride Atlantis. We'll be there for half a day probably from 9 ish till 2 or 3.

Hi Anna! There is so much to do at Seaworld that it would take the entire day instead of a few hours. Keep in mind, that you get a 2nd day free with the purchase of a 1 day ticket so you can come back the next day if you wanted.

I would definitely see Believe and the Sealion show. I would also suggest seeing the Dolphin show "Blue Horizons" Its the most popular show in the park. Your going during Seaworlds "Halloween Spooktakular." This event is mainly for young kids, but because its a Spooktakular weekend, there is a "Shamu Rocks" night show at night which is different from the day show Believe. And in my opinion, Shamu Rocks is 1000 times better than Believe. It should be a 7:15pm or 7:30 show that night and Halloween night if you choose to go back the next day. After that, Shamu Rocks is done until New Years Eve, because it is a seasonal show that is only performed during special times of the year. Which makes it that much more important to see.

Check out the animal feedings. For $7 a person, you can feed and touch the dolphins. You can feed and pet stingrays for another fee. For additional fees you can also feed Sealions and Sharks. There are Penguins and a Polar Bear, Walrus and Beluga Whale exhibit. I would also ride "Manta." It is a lay down flying roller coaster. One of the best in Florida. My all time favorite coaster. Inside, the queue area, there is a massive aquarium. Kraken is a floorless roller coaster that is a must ride too. There is also a Manatee and Sea Turtle exhibit. So much to do and see. I would definitely consider a longer day or coming back for the 2nd day free.

I totally agree that you should see Blue Horizons, my little boy loves dolphins and this is his favourite show in the whole park! There is just so much going on, dolphins, birds, gymnatsics. Its fantastic!

We also love to see the penguins, the sharks, the rays, all sorts of stuff, plus don't forget the fantastic coasters! Kraken and Manta are amazing, and prepare to get wet on Atlantis!

I think you'll need more than half a day! :goodvibes

After looking at the map and youtube, I don't think we can do it all in half a day either. :lmao:

I'm planning on changing my schedule around. The last two park days will probably be devoted to SW and Universal with us going back to WDW at night for evening stuff like MSEP.

I can't ride Manta or Kraken. Kenny could though. I have Epilepsy and don't want to induce a seizure. :scared1: I am really interested in the shows like Blue Horizons and Believe. Kenny wants to see the shark tank.

We will be there at WDW Oct. 26-31 with the DCL cruise to follow on the 31-Nov. 4. (It's our 4 year wedding anniversary) :lovestruc

Congrats on your anniversary! About Manta and Kraken, the same Aquarium in the queue line of Manta is also viewable to those who choose not to ride. So while he is riding, you can check out the aquarium!

Sea World has a lot of shows and the hours are scattered at different times during the day.Even spending the entire day at Sea World you might not get to see everything. You have two different Shamu shows, the Sea Lions show which occasionally has two different shows,Blue Horizons,Pets Ahoy, the A'lure cirque style show,at peak times they have a nighttime show on the lake. Then you have the walk through attractions like Sharks, the Penguin encounter,Dolphin Cove, the Wild Arctic simulator ride with the post ride walk through,etc..Then you have the other rides,Atlantis,Manta and Kraken. The reason why it's tricky to see everything is you have to check out the showtimes and schedule your day around them leaving time for the rides, eating lunch and seeing the walk through attractions.
