For my birthday, but sister just gave me tickets to see Roger Daultry of The Who in concert. I have a question...... does he do Who songs, or will he be doing his own solo work? I'm a HUGE Who fan, but not so much of either four of the guys solo work (though Petes is pretty good).

TIA :flower3:

etree is usually a good source for setlists but as far as I can tell there have been any setlists added since 2003.

This is what he did then:
Roger Daltrey 03/26/03
Royal Albert Hall, London, England

Date: 03/26/03
Year: 2003
Venue: Royal Albert Hall
City: London
State: England

Set I
The Kids are Alright/Band Intro/Talk Tonight/Shadow of the Sun/One way Road/The butterfly Collector/Step on my old size Nines/Traffic/Songbird/Majic Bus/So sad about Us/Won't get fooled Again/Substitute

Looks like just a bit of Who stuff in there. ;)

Enjoy!

Thanks for that info, but according to my DH, Roger hasn't played solo in like 20 years, so maybe what you saw was a fundraiser kind of event? I don't know, but thanks all the same! On the website, it says that hes allowed to do any and all Who songs, so I'm totally psyched to go!

No. I've never seen Daltrey. I collect live shows. There is an online site where you can keep your list of shows that you have, to make it easier to trade with others. I can go to that site and look for an artist or see what groups played on a particular date. They have a listing for Daltrey solo, with Townsend, etc. The setlist I posted was from '03 at Royal Albert Hall in London. Looks like the last time he played more than a "one-off" date or tv/radio spot was in '95. I was just posting the most recent setlist that was there.

If you go there, select a year on the top and then it will show the dates he played that year. You can select the date and view the setlists (if available), see who played with him and they usually have a notation if it's a cover and other information like what was used to tape it, etc. I would assume a Who fan site would have better information but I've never been that big into them so I never searched one out.

I hope this helps you get an idea of what he sings when solo.

ETA: Yes that was a fundraiser for a cancer trust. ""Trust" is the name of the band formed by Roger Daltrey, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Kelly Jones, Gem Archer & Liam Gallagher (who appeared only to sing "Songbird") to support Richard Ashcroft's night of the Teenage Cancer Trust gigs in 2003. All songs performed acoustic. " is listed under Oasis under the same night, venue.
